Serving up hope
Serving Up Hope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide sustainable tennis programs for underserved children, with 35 programs throughout the United States and in Uganda. SUH supports over 700 children annually and has assisted over 1,500 since inception. Volunteer needs include coaching support at their program locations and remote administrative support. Fundraising asks include kids sized shoes and racquets, tennis string, and tennis grips. For more info, please email admin@servinguphope.org.
Parks & recreation
Your local Parks & Recreation Departments often offer sports programming for the community. They might be a great place to assist P&R staff with their sports classes.
Community Tennis Associations (CTA)
USTA Community Tennis Associations (CTAs) are not-for-profit, volunteer-based organizations supporting programs that grow the game of tennis. They are located in towns across the country and are great entry points if you’re looking to get started in the game, to play more often or to give back to our lifetime sport.
