  • Vania King - President

    Vania is a former professional tennis player, reaching career high rankings of #3 in doubles and #50 in singles. A two time Grand Slam champion, Vania won the 2010 Wimbledon and US Open Women’s Doubles Championships. She serves at the Executive Director of Serving Up Hope, a nonrpofit organization that provides tennis programs for underserved children around the world, consultant for the Women’s Tennis Association and Women’s Tennis Benefit Association, and Director at Large of the USTA.

  • Lopa Patel Zielinski - vice president

    Lopa is Managing Director & EVP, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel, Corporate Governance at HSBC USA /LATAM. She is responsible for all corporate governance matters relating to US Boards and subsidiaries, and oversees LATAM Boards and governance within the complex HSBC global legal entity structure. She is a member of the US Executive Committee and separately a member of the global HSBC Corporate Governance & Secretariat Executive Committee. She is the Executive Sponsor for the (US) Asian and Pacific Islanders Committee. Lopa has an extensive background and a wide range of experience in corporate governance, board counsel, and securities and financial regulation. She has received wide industry recognition for her work in the legal field, and in 2022 was a recipient of the prestigious Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business award, presented by the Asian American Business Development Center. Lopa played NCAA Division I tennis at Lehigh University, where she was named to the All-Patriot League team (two-time) and the first Asian American in the history of Lehigh Women’s tennis to receive this honor. She serves on the Board of Directors of USTA Eastern and is also a member of a USTA national committee.

  • Perren Wong - Treasurer

    Perren serves as a Managing Director, Head of Private Banking Operations at Morgan Stanley out of New York. He is the Chairman of the Board and Delegate of USTA Eastern. At the national level, Perren serves as chair of the USTA Section Delegate’s committee and is a member of the USTA Budget committee.

  • Ryan Redondo - Secretary

    Ryan comes from a distinguished professional tennis playing family in Southern California and was a high level college player and college coach. He is currently the Tournament Director at the ATP/WTA events in San Diego, the General Manager of the Barnes Tennis Center, one of the largest tennis facilities in CA, the Chair of the USTA Southern California DEI Committee, and the CEO of Youth Tennis San Diego, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that runs tennis outreach programs to thousands of youth in San Diego.

  • Jessie Pegula

    Jessie is a professional tennis player, Olympian, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She is the highest ranked American player, reaching career high rankings of #3 in singles and doubles. She has won 2 WTA singles titles, 5 WTA doubles titles, is a three-time Grand Slam singles quarterfinalist and a Grand Slam doubles finalist. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Jessie has four siblings and three pups.

  • Rajeev Ram

    Rajeev is a professional tennis player, Olympian, five-time Grand Slam Champion, and former #1 doubles player in the world. Residing in Indiana, Rajeev has won 35 ATP Tour titles (3 in singles and 32 in doubles) and was a Silver Medalist in Mixed Doubles at the 2016 Rio De Janeiro Olympics, partnering with Venus Williams. He is the founder of EntouRaj for Kids, a nonprofit organization which promotes youth tennis and funds high school teams in Indiana.

  • Dana Mathewson

    Dana Mathewson is a professional wheelchair player, Olympian, and 2022 Wimbledon Wheelchair Doubles Grand Slam Champion. She is the first woman to win a major wheelchair singles title and the top ranked American wheelchair player. Dana reached career high rankings of #9 in singles and #4 in doubles. A two-time Paralympian, she played and attended the University of Arizona where she completed an undergraduate and graduate degree, the latter in Audiology, and is currently completing her doctorate. Born in San Diego, California, Dana loves traveling, crafting and escape rooms.

  • David Lee

    David Lee is the current USTA committee chair for Advocacy, and is also the Board President for the largest CTA in Maryland, the Montgomery County Tennis Association. David also works as Senior Marketing Consultant for WJLA - ABC7 TV in Washington DC, which is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group. He is also a USPTA certified professional and is a dedicated community advocate for tennis, social justice and DEI initiatives in the DC metro area.

  • Kathleen Wu

    Kathleen is a Real Estate/Finance attorney with the global law firm Hunton Andrews Kurth, and has served in numerous leadership positions within her firm. She is the current President of the USTA Foundation and a frequent writer, speaker and advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal profession and beyond. Her work has earned her recognition from a variety of organizations, including the National Diversity Council and the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce–Southwest.

  • Andi Chu

    Andi Chu is Vice President and Editor in Chief at Tennis Channel. She oversees the network’s non-linear content and operations activity, including its production of video and editorial content, TennisChannel.com, Tennis.com and Baseline websites, OTT streaming-service Tennis Channel Plus, print Tennis Magazine, and all social media endeavors. In 2019, Andi was honored with the Cynopsis Top Women in Media Award. In 2020 she was honored with Broadcasting & Cable’s Women in the Game Award. Prior to Tennis Channel, Chu spent six years at the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) overseeing digital content. Before that, she was a Film and TV executive at major studios in LA.

  • Michelle Yu

    Michelle is an Emmy Award winning journalist, news anchor, broadcaster, emcee and author. She has worked with notable broadcasting outlets such as SportsNet New York, NY1 and most recently, Law and Crime TV. She is a recreactional tennis player and her favorite tennis player is Rafael Nadal.

  • Tony Cho

    Tony is the Vice President of Data and Technology for the Women’s Tennis Association, WTA Tournament Director, WTA Supervisor, and Director of Officiating at Tennis Canada. Spending a brief stint on the trading floor early in his professional career, Tony realized his true passion in the sport industry and has become one of the most respected administrators at the highest levels of tennis.

  • Gregory Yep

    Dr. Gregory Yep is the Executive Vice President, Chief Research & Development, Global Integrated Solutions and Sustainability Officer at IFF, an $11B leader in food, beverage, scent, health and biosciences. He leads the company’s worldwide R&D strategy, research initiatives, technology development, external collaborations and ESG strategy designed to deliver transformational new ingredients, processes and technologies.

    Dr. Yep joined IFF in June 2016 after holding the position of Senior Vice President of R&D at PepsiCo, where he created long-term science-based strategies for core ingredients and their impact on food, flavor, metabolism and nutrition. He was also responsible for the Gatorade Sports Science Institute - a facility aimed at expanding knowledge of sports nutrition and exercise science to enhance the performance and well-being of athletes.

    Greg is an avid tennis player and has served multiple terms on the USTA Sports Science Committee and will serve on the USTA Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the 2023-24 term.

  • Tommy Ho

    Tommy is the Chief Talent Officer of Quantum Energy Partners, a leading global provider of private equity, credit, structured capital and venture capital to the responsibly sourced energy and energy transition & decarbonization sectors. A former professional tennis player, Tommy reached career high rankings of 13 in doubles and 85 in singles and was the youngest male player in the open era to play in the main draw of the US Open singles at 15 years old and 2 months.

  • Alexis Colvin

    Dr. Alexis Chiang Colvin is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Associate Dean for Alumni Affairs at Mount Sinai. She is a board certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in surgical treatment of knee, shoulder and hip disorders. A graduate of Princeton University, she received her medical degree from Mount Sinai and completed her orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. Dr. Colvin is the Chief Medical Officer for the US Open and was previously the Chief Medical Officer for the United States Tennis Association.
